On December 27, SteelOrbis reported ex-India DRI offers (sponge lumps 80 FeM) to Bangladesh trending down to $340-350/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that export offers are firming up in the $340-350/mt CFR range with offers trending toward the top of the range. Demand for ex-India DRI is reportedly quiet this week but sellers expect a surge in activity in late January as general elections stay behind. Additionally, sellers find price support for ex-India DRI offers in the firm scrap import offers presently in the market for Bangladesh.
