On May 21, SteelOrbis reported ex-India DRI (sponge lumps 80 FeM) offers to Bangladesh at $319-322/mt CFR.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices have slipped down to $312-316/mt CFR, down $7/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $6/mt from the top of the same range. A source noted that recent deals have reinforced the lower price range but that the improved pricing situation for Indian iron ore fines to the Chinese market can provide overall buoyancy to the DRI export market in the coming week.
