Ex-Europe scrap deals in Turkey

According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer has concluded an ex-Europe deal for a cargo consisting of 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 75:25 scrap, 12,500 mt of HMS I scrap, 2,500 mt of new cutting scrap at the average price level of $332/mt CFR.

Another Turkish steel mill has concluded a second ex-Europe transaction for HMS I/II 75:25 scrap at $325/mt CFR, shredded scrap at $340/mt CFR and bonus grade scrap at $344/mt CFR.

Lastly, a Turkish steelmaker has concluded an ex-Europe scrap deal for 26,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $327/mt CFR and 4,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at $337/mt CFR, for November shipments.
