Turkey’s import scrap market has been filled with various rumors after the national holiday on October 29. One sale was confirmed for an ex-Netherlands cargo for November shipment. The batch consisted of 22,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 at $248/mt CFR and 2,500 mt of bonus grade at $258/mt CFR. As a result, the European HMS I/II 80:20 price has remained stable so far as compared to the transaction concluded from Denmark last week, SteelOrbis estimates.
