Over the past week, CIS-based suppliers’ pig iron offers to the export markets have remained stable at $350-390/mt FOB, as most market players were absent due to the New Year holiday. As the holiday period in the CIS has ended, buyers in target markets are expected to increase their demand for ex-CIS pig iron in the coming days.
