Sources inform SteelOrbis that an ex-Russia basic steelmaking pig iron cargo has been sold in the US at $350/mt CFR early this week. With the prices of imported scrap increasing in Turkey and US domestic scrap prices expected to increase in December, pig iron offers and corresponding deals from the CIS are also expected to increase.
