Ex-Canada scrap transaction in Turkey

Market sources confirm that a Turkish steelmaker has concluded an ex-Canada deal for 20,000 mt of HMS I scrap and 30,000 mt of shredded scrap at the average price level of $225/mt CFR. In addition, SteelOrbis has heard from market sources that another Turkish steel producer, based in the Iskenderun region, has concluded a scrap deal with the same Canadian supplier at the same price level, while further details regarding the second deal have not been revealed yet.
