Ex-Canada scrap deal in Turkey

According to sources, an ex-Canada deal with a Turkish mill has been concluded for 15,000 mt of shredded scrap, 30,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap, and 5,000 mt of P&S scrap at an average price of $312.50/mt CFR. This latest transaction has moved import scrap prices down by $12.50/mt from the most recent ex-Canada deal reported by SteelOrbis on September 22 at an average price of $325/mt CFR Turkey for a similar scrap mix.
