On August 22, SteelOrbis reported offers for PHCC (premium hard coking coal) to India at $198-200/mt CFR India and $185/mt FOB Australia.
Since then, coking coal offers to China on premium and hard coking coal grades have encountered an uptrend. Consistent with the upward trend in the coking coal offers to the Chinese market through the past several weeks, PHCC offers to India are now reportedly at $202-204/mt CFR and approximately $188-189/mt FOB Australia. In CFR terms, prices increased $4/mt.
