JSW Steel Global Trade Pte Ltd, the distributor for leading Indian steelmaker JSW Ltd, has reportedly closed a tender for ex-Australia premium mid-volatility hard coking coal. Accordingly, today, on July 26, the company sold 45,000 mt of Goonyella Riverside brand and 35,000 mt of Goonyella Riverside/Caval Ridge brand, with August 22-31 laycan at $195/mt FOB Australia.

As SteelOrbis reported earlier, yesterday, on July 25, an offer for August-laycan cargo of premium mid-volatility hard coking coal (HCCA) at $220/mt failed to attract any buying activity.
