Dock delivered price for HMS I/II 80:20 in Los Angeles ticks upward

Last week, SteelOrbis reported that the dock delivered price that West Coast exporters were paying to scrap collectors in the Los Angeles area, for HMS I/II 80:20, was still being heard in the range of $135-$145/gt ($137-$147/mt or $124-$133/nt). Exporters were expected to discuss June pricing toward the end of the week.

Today, SteelOrbis has learned that exporters in the LA region have raised their HMS I/II 80:20 dock delivered prices since our last report- to a range of $136-$147/gt ($138-$149/mt or $125-$135/nt).
