Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 49

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved up by NTD 500/mt ($16/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,400-11,100/mt ($339-362/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 42,500-45,000/mt ($1,385-1,467/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late December-early January shipments.
