SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,100-10,800/mt ($319-341/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 6,000/mt ($190/mt) over the past week to NTD 45,500-48,000/mt ($1,439-1,518/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-October shipments.
