Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 37

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,300-11,000/mt ($331-353/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 5,000/mt ($161/mt) over the past week to NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,268-1,348/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early October shipments.
