Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 33

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 400/mt ($13/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,000-9,700/mt ($300-323/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 31,500-34,000/mt ($1,049-1,132/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early September shipments.
