Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 29

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 600/mt ($20/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,900-10,600/mt ($331-354/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 40,500-43,000/mt ($1,354-1,438/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early August shipments.

$1 = NTD 29.91
