SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 10,500-11,200/mt ($351-374/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 40,500-43,000/mt ($1,354-1,438/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late July/early August shipments.
