Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 24

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 12,300-13,000/mt ($413-437/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 48,500-51,000/mt ($1,631-1,715/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early-to-mid July shipments.
