Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 20

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan are now at NTD 10,900-11,600/mt ($366-390/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis, indicating an increase of NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) since last week.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market still stand at NTD 46,000-50,000/mt ($1,559-1,695/mt) ex-yard, remaining unchanged over the same period.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early and mid-June shipments.
