Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 20

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 500/mt ($17/mt) over the past week to NTD 12,300-13,000/mt ($413-436/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have dropped by NTD 2,000/mt ($67/mt) over the past week to NTD 53,500-56,000/mt ($1,797-1,881/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-June shipments.
