SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 11,800-12,500/mt ($388-411/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 3,000/mt ($99/mt) over the past week to NTD 45,500-48,000/mt ($1,494-1,576/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early February shipments.
