SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 900/mt ($30/mt) over the past week to NTD 12,800-13,500/mt ($428-451/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 55,500-58,000/mt ($1,857-1,941/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early June shipments.
