SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,400-10,100/mt ($284-305/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,087-1,162/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late April shipments.
