Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 11

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 1,200/mt ($42/mt) over the past week to NTD 15,500-16,200/mt ($549-573/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 67,500-70,000/mt ($2,391-2,479/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-April shipments.
