Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 10

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt ($11/mt) over the past week to NTD 14,300-15,000/mt ($504-529/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 13,000/mt ($459/mt) over the past week to NTD 67,500-70,000/mt ($2,383-2,471/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early-to-mid April shipments.
