Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 8

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 7,400-8,300/mt ($240-262/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500/mt on the upper end over the past week to NTD 35,000-40,000/mt ($1,136-1,299/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in early and mid-March.
