Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 8

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 600/mt during the past week to NTD 9,500-9,900/mt ($308-321/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 30,200-32,700/mt ($980-1.061/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-March shipments.
