Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 52

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased NTD 1,000/mt ($36/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,600-11,300/mt ($377-402/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 1,500/mt ($53/mt) over the past week at NTD 39,000-41,500/mt ($1,387-1,476/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-January shipments.
