Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 51

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased NTD 600/mt ($21/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,600-10,300/mt ($341-366/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained s table over the past week at NTD 37,500-40,000/mt ($1,332-1,421/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early January shipments
