Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 51

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt during the past week to NTD 9,500-9,800/mt ($317-327/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 35,000-38,500/mt ($1,167-1,284/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early January shipments.
