SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt during the past week to NTD 7,100-8,000/mt ($224-252/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 500-1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,134-1,212/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for shipments in mid-December.
