SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 11,100-11,800/mt ($400-425/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 54,500-57,000/mt ($1,964-2,054/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-to-late December shipments.
