Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 48

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt over the past week to NTD 8,500-9,200/mt ($298-323/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained s table over the past week at NTD 37,500-40,000/mt ($1,315-1,403/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid and late December shipments
