Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 47

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 9,000-9,300/mt ($299-309/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 36,500-40,000/mt ($1,214-1,331/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early December shipments.
