SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 600/mt ($21/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,100-11,800/mt ($398-424/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 54,500-57,000/mt ($1,958-2,048/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early December shipments.
