Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 44

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt over the past week to NTD 7,900-8,600/mt ($276-301/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 37,000-39,500/mt ($1,293-1,381/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late November and early December shipments.
