SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 100/mt over the past week to NTD 7,000-7,300/mt ($229-239/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 34,500-37,000/mt ($1,129-1,211/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late November shipments.
