SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have declined by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 7,900-8,200/mt ($260-270/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 35,500-38,000/mt ($1,167-1,250/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are late October shipments.
