Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 40

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 7,900-8,600/mt ($271-295/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,236-1,322/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late October shipments.
