SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 300/mt over the past week to NTD 7,300-7,600/mt ($235-245/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,176-1,256/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late October shipments.
