SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 400/mt during the past week to NTD 11,500-12,000/mt ($377-393/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved down by NTD 2,000/mt over the past week at NTD 34,200-36,700/mt ($1,121-1,202/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early and mid-November shipments.
