SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt ($10.77/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,400-12,100/mt ($409-434/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 47,500-50,000/mt ($1,706-1,795/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-February shipments.
