SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved sideways during the past week at NTD 8,800-9,200/mt ($285-298/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 30,200-32,700/mt ($978-1,060/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and late February shipments.
