Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 39

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 200/mt over the past week to NTD 7,500-7,900/mt ($242-255/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 2,000/mt over the past week to NTD 37,500-40,000/mt ($1,210-1,291/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-October shipments.
