SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 200/mt over the past week to NTD 7,700-8,100/mt ($248-261/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 35,500-38,000/mt ($1,145-1,225/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-October shipments.
