Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 38

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable during the past week at NTD 8,100-8,400/mt ($269-280/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 35,500-38,500/mt ($1,179-1,279/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early October shipments.
