Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 37

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by 100 NTD/mt ($3/mt) since last week and are currently quoted at NTD 11,000-12,000/mt ($371-405/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged since last week and are still standing at NTD 34,000-38,000/mt ($1,146-1,281/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early October shipments.
