Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 34

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 700/mt ($25/mt) over the past week to NTD 12,000-12,700/mt ($430-455/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 47,500-50,000/mt ($1,701-1,790/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-September shipments.
