SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 7,900-8,200/mt ($261-271/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 1,000/mt over the past week to NTD 33,000-36,000/mt ($1,089-1,188/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early September shipments.
