Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 31

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 7,100-7,800/mt ($242-265/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 32,500-35,000/mt ($1,106-1,191/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and late August shipments.
